Arroz con Gandules

  • 1 Small Onion Chopped
  • 3 Garlic Cloves Minced
  • 1 Small Green Pepper
  • 1 Can of Coconut Cream
  • 2 Cans of LaFe Green Pigeon Peas
  • 4 Cups of La Fe Jasmine Rice
  • 6 cups of water
  • La Fe Olive Oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pinch of Black Pepper

In a large heavy pot add enough Olive oil to cover the bottom of the pot. Add and sauté onions, garlic and green peppers until the onion is translucent, add coconut cream and the cans of LaFe Green Pigeon Peas, salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil and add 4 cups of rice and water and let it come to a boil again. Simmer covered for 20 minutes then stir turn off the fire and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Seafood Marinara

  • 1 lb. ( 1 Bag) LaFe Seafood Combination
  • 2-3 Cloves Garlic, crushed
  • 1 Bag of LaFe Pasta
  • 2 Cups Pasta Sauce
  • LaFe Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Chopped Parsley

Cook Pasta folioing the directions on the bag, drain, add a little bit of LaFe Olive Oil (so the pasta won't stick together) toss and set aside. In a separate sauce pan add enough olive oil to cover the bottom of the pan and add the garlic. Let it cook, stirring until the garlic is translucent. Add the LAFE Seafood Combination to this mixture and let it cook for 3-5 minutes(stirring every few minutes). Add this mixture directly to your sauce and let simmer for an additional 25 minutes. Serve your seafood sauce over your favorite LAFE pasta and garnish with the parsley.
